The Dallas Arboretum will be the beneficiary of the first Galleria Dallas Good Market, to be held March 22-23 in the new outdoor plaza near North Italia, receiving 10% of sales from the weekend. During the market, which will feature 10 local vendors, the Dallas Arboretum will have a booth from which they will host interactive activities and sell spring goods from the arboretum’s gift shop. The activities will introduce guests to the secrets of sustainable gardening and allow them to examine plant samples under a microscope to see their intricate structures.
“Dallas Blooms is such a significant event for families in North Texas, and we are thrilled to have a touch of the beautiful Dallas Arboretum flowers at Galleria Dallas this spring,” said Galleria Dallas Director of Marketing Megan Townsend.
“Springtime is one of the best times to experience the Dallas Arboretum in full bloom, with plenty to see and do,” Dallas Arboretum President and CEO Sabina Carr added. “We hope that people visiting Galleria Dallas will be inspired by this fantastic installation to plan a visit to the garden to enjoy more than 500,000 spring blooming flowers, thousands of azaleas and the cherry blossoms. Galleria Dallas is also pleased to feature other floral photo opportunities across the center during March. In addition to the fresh flowers located near center court, the ice-rink is topped by cascading flowers this spring, there is a decorative floral wall located across from Sephora and another by local artist Alli K. at the shopping center entrance near Nordstrom.
